Creeping Red Fescue is a versatile grass that has a variety of uses. It makes excellent grass to use for lawns, golf greens and turf for ground cover in landscaping. It is particularly important in shaded locations and on sandy soils. In cooler, temperate climates, established creeping fescue lawns also have good drought tolerance, low fertility requirements and will tolerate full sun. It may be seeded alone or in mixtures with other species providing unique benefits to maximize turfgrass sustainability.
