Piper Sudangrass is a warm season, annual forage and cover crop grass. With finer stems and leaves than sorghum-sudangrass, Piper Sudangrass can be used for hay or grazing. It produces an enormous amount of biomass, loosens hard soil, and suppresses weeds. Piper is known for its rapid growth and lower prussic acid content than sorghum sudangrass. It prefers hot, dry weather and withstands drought-like conditions easily.
