SS-2 DOUBLE SIDED STRAW RAPIDGO EROSION CON. BLANKET 8’X112.5′

Constructed of certified weed-free, agricultural straw, Western Excelsior's Excel SS-2 Rapid Go series temporary blankets offer an ideal solution for rainfall/rainsplash protection on shallow slopes and channel protection for low-risk, low-flow channels. These superior straw blankets incorporate Rapid-Go nettings and are available in both single and double net varieties. Each blanket is manufactured to ensure a consistent thickness and distribution of fibers, allowing for excellent flexibility, moisture absorption and the ability to conform to the soil surface

Western Excelsior manufactures a full line of Rolled Erosion Control Products (RECPs). Excel SS-2 Rapid Go temporary Erosion Control Blanket (ECB) is composed entirely of a straw matrix mechanically (stitch) bonded on two inch centers between two photodegradable, synthetic nets. The netting of the SS-2 Rapid Go ECB is treated to accelerate the degradation process. The straw matrix consists of weed free agricultural straw. Excel SS-2 is recommended for use in channels or slopes requiring erosion protection for a period forty-five to ninety days. Actual field longevity is dependent on soil and climatic conditions.

Each roll of EXCEL S-2 Rapid Go is made in the USA and manufactured under Western Excelsior's Quality Assurance Program to ensure a continuous distribution of fibers and consistent thickness. Typical manufactured properites are provided in Table 1 and product characteristics are provided in Table 2.
