Shamrock Kentucky Bluegrass is a rhizomatous, sod-forming cool-season grass used for lawns and pastures. It is one of the most aggressive bluegrasses available. It forms a sod so dense that it will crowd out most weeds and withstand foot traffic exceptionally well. It has early spring green-up and has a dark green color that will last all season long. Shamrock can blend with elite Kentucky bluegrasses and is a workhorse for use in landscape, golf course roughs and sports fields.
