Chewings Fescue is part of the red fescue familt. It has deep green fine leaves and offers great shade tolerance. Chewings fescue has excellent seedling vigor, exceptional density and fast spring green-up. It is drought-tolerant, and is exceptional under low maintenance conditions. Can be used in mixtures without becoming too aggressive.
